Our prices start from £1495 plus disbursements for cremation and burial services, including all arrangements, a veneered oak or mahogany coffin, a modern hearse and bearers. We have no hidden charges.

Savings are mainly achieved by low commission – we charge less for the services of our funeral director with 30 years local experience – and low overheads. We offer a comprehensive range of services, not only a standard funeral.

We were the first funeral business in Chesterfield to detail its fees online. We will better any genuine quotation in the locality. Most of our work is from families we have served in the past and  recommendation,  and a sample of testimonials received from our clients are displayed on this website. Our services are based purely on funeral arrangements requested at the time of need, as we no longer offer new, pre-paid funeral plans.

Do you offer pre-paid funeral plans?
No. We are not inviting applications for new funeral plans.

Which areas do you cover?
Most of our work is in the Chesterfield district but we have also carried out funerals in the Matlock, Bakewell, Eckington, Dronfield, Bolsover, Alfreton, Mansfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield areas. If you are unsure whether we can help, please give us a call.

Do you operate a 24-hour service or is it a limited, 9-5 office hours service?
We are available 24/7 to carry out removal of the deceased because this service may be required at any time of day or night.

Do you have a Chapel of Rest where the family can view the deceased prior to the funeral?
Yes. An option is shown in our Prices section for those families who wish to see their loved ones at the chapel prior to the funeral.

Do you arrange burials or just cremations?
We have extensive experience of arranging burials and cremations. We provide a complete service from the most simple arrangements, such as cremation without a minister, celebrant or family in attendance, to full burial.

Do you provide limousines to take mourners to the funeral service?
Yes. All vehicles are very modern. The limousines are sleek, air-conditioned and very comfortable. They each seat six mourners.

Can family members carry the coffin into the chapel?
Yes. We will give advice to those wishing to do this.

Do you request payment in full before the funeral?
No. Depending on the circumstances/costs involved we may request a deposit towards third-party fees (eg burial disbursements) but the full cost of the funeral may be settled after the service.
